She's recorded a variety of well-known covers, such as Half the World Away (by Oasis), from the group Oasis) to accompany John Lewis' Christmas advert as well as Nature Boy (by Nat King Cole) that are widely loved. Katy Perry posted a video that she supported Runaway. The endorsement earned her some recognition. Make it a special day for her. Aurora Aksnes first musical memory was finding a keyboard in her loft and being intrigued by its sounds. Jan Oystein Aksnes was her father. They encouraged her not to pursue music solely to have fun or for the sake of development but instead, she must pursue it. So she started writing her own songs. Her inspirations include famous authors Leonard Cohen and Bob Dylan and her love of Bjork's style. The singer decided to perform her music in public when her mother suggested that they can help other people, not gain acclaim for her work, but instead help the people around them understand their own importance and how they could impact the world. As a young girl she started playing the piano. At age nine, she was writing music. It was unknown to her family until she was fourteen. Aurora wasn't a dream. She says she just likes writing songs. According to her, she believes music can make people feel more relaxed.
